I created a small archive of Nigerian women's resistances throughout the 1920s-1950s. This project challenges patriarchy, colonization, and gender marginalization that attempted to erase this history. It provides a framework and reference for how to tackle oppressive systems in our present-day society and understand the ways oppressive systems transform over time.
